Cancellation Policy

To keep sessions running smoothly and fair for all clients, the following policies apply: Cancellations & Rescheduling * More than 48 hours notice: free reschedule. * 24–48 hours notice: 50% of the session fee is charged. * Less than 24 hours notice or no-shows: full session fee is charged. * A no-show is when a client does not attend and does not make contact before the appointment start time. Behaviour Consults, Puppy Sessions & Training Sessions Payment is required at booking. Rescheduling is allowed once with 48+ hours notice. Late cancellations or missed sessions are charged as above. Training Walks & Travel-Based Sessions Same cancellation rules apply. THDM may reschedule due to unsafe weather conditions. Clients may request rescheduling for safety, but final decisions sit with THDM. Packages & Hybrid Coaching Programs These reserve ongoing time and resources. Refunds are not available once the program has begun, and unused sessions cannot be transferred. Sessions require 48 hours notice; missed or late-cancelled sessions are forfeited. Programs may be paused for genuine reasons (illness, injury, veterinary advice) at THDM’s discretion. Online Courses & Digital Products Non-refundable once access has been granted. Technical support will be provided if issues occur. THDM Membership (Monthly/Yearly) Memberships automatically renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle. No refunds are given for the current billing period once charged. Exceptions Consideration may be given for emergencies (veterinary, family, or emergency service activation). Evidence may be requested. Trainer Cancellations If THDM must cancel, you will be offered the next available appointment or a full refund for that session. Safety Sessions may be ended or rescheduled if the dog is unwell, the environment is unsafe, or safety protocols are not followed. Cancellation fees may still apply. By booking a service with THDM, you agree to this policy.
